Parent Teacher Association
Who are we?
PTA (Parent Teacher Association) are a small bunch of parents, caregivers and teachers who care about the tamariki at Churton School.
We love being part of the Churton School community and we believe that we can help enhance our children's time at school by getting involved and helping to provide a few little extras.
We are generally busy people who don't always have a lot of spare time, but we still want to help out when we can.
What do we do?
We meet once a month for an hour or so (usually over a snack and a drink).
We organise and run fundraising events, like: School Discos, Quiz Nights, Pie Sales, Photo Shoots, Sausage Sizzles ........and more!
We use money raised to buy things for school, like: Duffy Books, Sports Subs, Scholarships, Leavers' Gifts, Library Books, School camp, Ice Blocks, Equipment to complement learning resources .......and more!
Why should you join us?
It's good Fun - You'll make new Friends- You'll feel Connected -You'll be part of the PTA Team!
It's worthwhile - you'll be able to see your child and others benefit from something you've done.
Many hands make light work the more of us in the PTA Team, the easier it is to put on events and raise more money.
You can be a Committee Member and help make decisions, or you can be a PTA Friend and just help out at events if and when you can.
